Natascha Sofia Snellman is a screenwriter pursuing female-centered stories about identity, survival, and complex characters navigating broken systems: coming-of-age narratives, maternal advocacy, and ableism.

Her screenplays have earned recognition across multiple competitions and festivals. In August 2026, Iceblink Luck was named a Quarter Finalist for the CineStory Feature Retreat & Fellowship. In July 2026, Iceblink Luck was officially selected for the 8th Annual LA Under the Stars Film Festival. In May 2026, Evolve earned shortlist placement on the Wscripted+ 6th Cannes Screenplay List. In 2023, Portia was selected for the Writer’s residency at Chateau d'Orquevaux, France.

She has developed her writing craft through On The Page, Writing Pad, and American Zoetrope. She also has an MFA from Art Center College of Design.

Natascha lives in Los Angeles with her family and grew up in Amsterdam and the Pacific Northwest.
